Kai Trump Makes Red Carpet Debut at 2026 ESPYs in New York

The 19-year-old aspiring golfer made her first appearance at a major awards show Wednesday night when she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2026 ESPYs in New York City.

Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, attended the ceremony held at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on July 15. She turned heads in a shimmering gold gown that complemented her radiant complexion.

While her exact reason for attending remains unconfirmed, her presence at the event aligns with her professional golf aspirations. Trump is set to join the University of Miami women's golf team for the 2026-27 season.

"Our team is very welcoming. They trust in us to continue to invite players to the program that will contribute in their own way, to raise the level of this team," said Hurricanes coach Janice Olivencia. "In addition to that, we're very fortunate at Miami to have a plethora of resources and great support systems. This class will certainly have the access our current student athletes have at The U from the minute they get on campus."

Trump shared her pre-event preparations across social media, posting multiple TikTok videos documenting her getting-ready process. In one clip, she expressed her enthusiasm while unboxing her dress, saying, "Oh my god… I'm in love."
