Gracie Abrams Scores First Billboard 200 No. 1 With 'Daughter From Hell'

Gracie Abrams is marking a major career milestone with her first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

The 26-year-old artist's third studio album, Daughter From Hell, has taken the top position on the chart's August 1-dated edition, according to Billboard. The project launched with 124,000 equivalent album units in the US during the week ending July 23, representing her strongest opening week to date.

Abrams shared her excitement over the achievement on social media, posting to her Instagram story on Sunday, July 26: "Whoa thank you so much this is nuts and entirely your doing!!! Thank you," accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The accomplishment represents significant progress for the singer, whose previous best performance came two years ago when The Secret of Us peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

With this debut at the summit, Abrams becomes the sixth artist to reach their first No. 1 album in 2026, joining Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Don Toliver, and Megadeth.

Rounding out the current top five are Olivia Rodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love at No. 2, Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem at No. 3, Ella Langley's Dandelion at No. 4, and Noah Kahan's The Great Divide at No. 5.

Beyond the music charts, Abrams is preparing for her acting debut in the A24 film Please, directed by Halina Reijn. The ensemble cast includes Connor Storrie, Lola Tung, Tom Burke, and David Jonsson, who was recently announced as the next Black Panther.
