Shark Tank Season 18 Brings MrBeast, Mindy Kaling, J.J. Watt to Guest Investor Lineup

Shark Tank is gearing up for Season 18 with an impressive roster of celebrity investors stepping into the tank.
ABC has announced that YouTube sensation MrBeast, actress and producer Mindy Kaling, NFL standout J.J. Watt, and podcast host Steven Bartlett will join the show as guest sharks. Sisters Erin Foster and Sara Foster, who co-founded the fashion brand Favorite Daughter, will also make appearances during the upcoming season.
The show is also making changes to its permanent panel. Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams have been promoted from recurring roles to permanent shark positions. The core group of longtime investors—Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky, and Kevin O'Leary—will continue in their roles.
Each guest brings distinct expertise to the table. MrBeast will appear alongside Jeffrey Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries. Kaling brings her media and production background, while Watt brings his business ventures and philanthropic work. The Foster sisters leverage their fashion industry experience, and Bartlett hosts the popular podcast The Diary of a CEO and has appeared on the British version of the show, Dragons' Den.
Rashaun shared his enthusiasm about joining the permanent panel with TV Insider, describing the experience as similar to an NFL Draft. He highlighted how the show allows him to showcase financial literacy education to a mass audience while sitting alongside fellow entrepreneurs and top investors. He also noted the emotional reward of witnessing entrepreneurs' reactions after receiving investments.
Shark Tank Season 18 will premiere this fall on Wednesday nights on ABC, with new episodes also available on Hulu. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
