Mel C Reveals Spice Girls Now Own 'Spice World' Film Outright, Hints at Imminent Streaming Debut

Exciting news is coming for devoted fans of the Spice Girls. During an appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Mel C (Melanie Chisholm) announced that the group's iconic 1997 film "Spice World" will soon be available on streaming platforms.

The singer explained that the movie has been difficult to access because multiple parties previously held ownership stakes. "It's not available at the moment. It will be, because there were a lot of people that owned it. It was kind of all over the place," she said on the podcast.

The situation has now been resolved, according to Mel C. "So we've had to come together. The Spice Girls now fully own it, so we will be presenting it at some point in hopefully the not-too-distant future for people to enjoy," she shared.

The beloved film captures the group during their London tour, documenting their journey through a series of comedic escapades. Written by Kim Fuller and directed by Bob Spiers, "Spice World" boasted an impressive ensemble cast that included Alan Cumming, Elton John, Richard E.
