Kenzie Annis is opening up about her experience on Love Island USA season eight. The 24-year-old nursing student from Kennesaw, Georgia made an appearance on Call Her Daddy on Wednesday, July 15, just days after being eliminated from the villa alongside Dylan Wrona.

During her conversation with host Alex Cooper, the Love Island contestant reflected on her journey through the show, addressing her connections with multiple contestants, her hope of appearing on Dancing with the Stars, her bond with Melanie Moreno, and comparisons made between her and fellow islander Sincere Rhea.

Working Through the Melanie Situation

When discussing her friendship with Melanie, Kenzie acknowledged the complicated dynamics that unfolded. She explained that while Melanie's intentions seemed genuine when she called out for Caleb's arrival, there were moments of confusion regarding romantic interests.

"Both can be true," Kenzie said about the possibility that Melanie held feelings for multiple people in the villa.

The tension escalated during a kissing challenge when Melanie moved between Corbin and Sincere, then assured Kenzie she had nothing to worry about—only to later pull Corbin for a private conversation. Kenzie recalled confronting her friend about the contradiction, saying she would have preferred honesty about Melanie's intentions rather than feeling blindsided.

Despite the friction that aired on screen, Kenzie emphasized that their friendship ultimately remained strong. She revealed that before her departure, Melanie pulled her aside for a meaningful conversation, and the two have maintained their bond since leaving the villa.

"She was my comfort in there," Kenzie reflected, noting Melanie's support during vulnerable moments.

Addressing the Sincere Rhea Comparisons

The comparisons between her romantic exploration and Sincere's drew particular attention from viewers and fellow islanders. Kenzie acknowledged the criticism stung, especially when she felt unsupported by the group.

She pointed to key differences in their approaches: "I never called them any names, fake promises, and I tried to be as open as possible to who I was talking to," she explained, contrasting her behavior with what she observed from Sincere.

Kenzie also noted that Sincere mentioned his time at Casa Amor was a test, whereas her connections felt genuine rather than comparative. She questioned why she faced stricter judgment than her male counterpart, suggesting a potential gender disparity in how islanders were evaluated.

"It does feel sexist almost because I'm not a male and it's like I can't move like them maybe," she said, expressing frustration that only Jaiden and Jen offered her consistent support during that period.

Dancing with the Stars Is the Goal

When asked about her post-villa aspirations, Kenzie didn't hesitate. She's been a devoted fan of Dancing with the Stars since childhood, watching episodes for hours as a young girl—an experience that ultimately sparked her passion for dance.

Asked to rank her priorities if given the opportunity to pursue something outside the villa, Kenzie was clear: "Yes, top priority would be Dancing with the Stars, 100%."
