Jennifer Garner Brings 'Five-Star Weekend' Cast Together for InStyle Dinner in Beverly Hills

Jennifer Garner marked a special evening this week alongside the ensemble from her forthcoming series, Five-Star Weekend.

The Emmy-nominated performer co-hosted an intimate "Good Ideas" dinner event with InStyle on Tuesday, July 7, at the Funke Rooftop in Beverly Hills, bringing together members of the show's cast. The gathering included co-stars Chloe Sevigny, D'Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Judy Greer, Harlow Jane, and West Duchovny, alongside InStyle editor-in-chief Sally Holmes.

Garner, featured on the cover of InStyle's Summer 2026 issue, selected a Carolina Herrera floral dress for the occasion.

The event held special significance as it reunited Garner with Judy Greer, her co-star from 13 Going on 30. In remarks to the magazine, Greer reflected on their longstanding connection and Garner's approach to navigating her career and personal life.

"Just watching the way she handled her life and handled other people around her and handled work was just a really good thing to see," Greer shared. "This is a person who works really hard, she doesn't complain, she doesn't make her problems other people's problems, and she assumes that if she wants something that other people probably want it too."

Five-Star Weekend, adapted from Elin Hilderbrand's novel, follows Hollis Shaw, a celebrated cookbook author and culinary expert portrayed by Garner. After experiencing a profound personal tragedy, Hollis finds herself grappling with the unraveling of her seemingly flawless existence—including marital strain, a fractured bond with her daughter, and an escalating need for external validation. Determined to process her grief and rediscover herself, Hollis arranges an intimate weekend retreat at her Nantucket residence with four companions from different chapters of her life: one from childhood, one from her twenties, one from her thirties, and a mysterious fifth guest. Against the backdrop of coastal luxury, the gathering becomes a transformative experience as hidden truths surface and personal boundaries shift.

All eight episodes will premiere on Peacock on July 9.
