Ella Bright Shares Early Excitement About 'Off Campus' Season 2, Highlights Standout Episode

Ella Bright is giving fans a sneak peek at what's coming in the second season of Off Campus.

The 19-year-old actress will reprise her role as Hannah Wells in the Prime Video series, though this time her character won't be the central focus. Season two will instead follow Alli (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) as their romance takes center stage, drawing from Elle Kennedy's novel "The Score," the third installment in the Off Campus book series.

During an appearance on the podcast In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele, Bright opened up about the new season's quality and the unique way the cast discovers their material. She explained that actors receive scripts in batches—just two at a time per production block—meaning they're largely kept in the dark about upcoming storylines.

"We all signed on to the project having only read the first two scripts," Bright recalled about season one. "So we had no idea what was coming or what we were gonna have to do. And it was just really exciting. It was like watching the show every time, like two episodes would drop, and everyone would go to their emails, and we would be reading it."

For season two, Bright noted she's only seen four scripts so far, but she's already found a standout. "Episode three, I'm just going to say, is like my favorite thing I have ever read, ever," she said. "It's so fun. It's really juicy, and there's like a lot of ensemble moments and it's like a big, it's so great. I love it."

When pressed about the premiere timing, Bright admitted she doesn't have that information yet, though she expects it to follow the same schedule as the first season.
