Survivor Champion Dee Valladares Joins Big Brother 28 as Final Cast Addition

Big Brother 28 has completed its cast with the addition of a major reality television champion.
Dee Valladares, winner of Survivor's 45th season, rounds out the houseguest lineup for the upcoming season. The reveal came during Friday's episode of Big Brother: Unlocked, the bi-weekly after-show that features former players Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur alongside newcomer Jerry O'Connell as co-host.
Thursday's season premiere introduced 14 new houseguests to the competition alongside returning players Angela Murray from season 26, Survivor's Rick Devens, and Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly. The episode featured a playful time travel segment set 175 million years in the past, during which Rachel was eliminated from the house after being pushed into a volcano by a dinosaur. Host Julie Chen then teased that the cast would travel forward to December 20, 2023—the date of Dee's Survivor 45 victory—to find Rachel's replacement.
Dee made her official entrance during Big Brother: Unlocked's Friday broadcast, arriving in the backyard dressed in a costume fitting the prehistoric time period theme. Upon meeting her new competition, the Survivor champion declared her ambitions clearly.
"I want to be the first person to win Survivor and Big Brother," she announced to the assembled houseguests.
The addition sets the stage for what promises to be a competitive season featuring multiple reality television veterans competing for the crown.
