Two Survivor 50 Contestants Set for The White Lotus Season 4 Cameos

Two reality TV stars are heading to the fictional hotel world of The White Lotus.

During Wednesday night's live Survivor 50 finale (May 20), Mike White made a surprise video appearance to reveal that Charlie Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu from the competition series will land cameos in the upcoming fourth season of his Emmy-winning HBO drama. The new installment is currently in production in the South of France.

White himself competed on Survivor 50, though his run was brief—he became the fifth person voted out. Before heading to the island, the creator had delayed season four production to participate in the competition. When host Jeff Probst asked about his motivation to return, White reflected on the show's cultural impact: "Survivor has given me so much, as a viewer and when I was a contestant. Fifty seasons, are you kidding? There's nothing that could have stopped me from coming back."

After his elimination, White said he spent a day recovering before diving back into writing the new season.

This marks the second time White has pulled Survivor alumni for The White Lotus. Season two featured Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay, both from Survivor: David vs. Goliath, in guest roles.

The fourth season takes inspiration from real-world glamour, centering its narrative around the Cannes Film Festival. The story follows two competing film teams who descend on the festival with movies in the running, with one group staying at a palatial beachfront property on the Croisette while the other resides in a luxury mountain retreat.

The ensemble cast features Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, Laura Smet, Max Minghella, Ben Kingsley, and Pekka Strang.

No premiere date has been announced yet for the series, which is still in active production.
