Marion Cotillard graced the Cannes Film Festival red carpet on Wednesday evening (May 20) for the unveiling of her latest project, Roma Elastica, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The 50-year-old Academy Award-winning performer commanded attention in a striking black sheer dress from Chanel, accessorized with pieces from the luxury house's jewelry collection.

The premiere brought together Cotillard's co-stars for the occasion, including Noémie Merlant, Isabella Ferrari, Ornella Muti, Martina Scrinzi, Franco Nero, and Tea Falco. Director and writer Bertrand Mandico also attended the event.

Set in 1982, Roma Elastica follows Eddie, a character portrayed by Cotillard, described as an actress reflecting on her former success in American cinema. The narrative centers on her decision to take the lead in a science-fiction production being filmed in Rome—a role that may represent a significant moment in her career trajectory.
