Police Respond to Trespasser Reports at Johnny Depp's West Hollywood Residence

Johnny Depp's West Hollywood residence drew police attention on Tuesday, May 19, following reports of a suspected trespasser at the property.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a call around 4 p.m. local time regarding the incident. According to authorities, a female suspect was positioned at the front gate at the bottom of a hill and had been spotted on the grounds several times throughout the preceding weekend.
The individual in question allegedly attempted to deliver a message to Depp and was observed recording footage of the property. By the time officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already departed the area. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
The 62-year-old actor has been making the promotional rounds for his upcoming project. Depp recently made an appearance at CinemaCon 2026 to showcase his new film, Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol. Helmed by director Ti West, the movie presents a contemporary adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic 1843 novella A Christmas Carol, with Depp taking on the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.
