Jax Taylor is marking a major personal achievement as he continues his recovery journey.

The 46-year-old Vanderpump Rules star took to Instagram on Monday, May 18, to announce that he has reached 18 months of sobriety. In his post, Taylor reflected on a meaningful full-circle moment: returning to the treatment facility where he spent 90 days last summer as an alumni participant in their 5K Run, held in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.

"This journey hasn't been easy," Taylor wrote, "but it's been worth it and I'm very grateful to be celebrating 1.5 years sober this week."

He shared photos and video footage from his participation in the charity run alongside his message.

The milestone announcement drew support from several fellow reality television personalities. Jason Wahler from The Hills commented with encouragement, writing, "Let's go!! Proud of all the work you're doing!" while Zac Clark from Bachelor Nation added, "Rooting for continued sobriety. Keep going."

Taylor's recovery journey has been public since 2024, when he entered an inpatient treatment center to address mental health challenges. He subsequently disclosed diagnoses of Bipolar Disorder and PTSD, and later revealed he had struggled with cocaine addiction.

The reality star shares a 5-year-old son, Cruz, with his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright, whom they continue to co-parent.
