Vanessa Trump has disclosed a breast cancer diagnosis, with her ex-sister-in-law Ivanka Trump quickly responding with public support.
The 48-year-old shared the health update on Instagram on Wednesday, May 20. "I want to share a personal health update. I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer," she wrote. "While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me."
Vanessa expressed optimism about her path forward, noting that she remains "focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me." She concluded her post by requesting privacy as she navigates her health journey.
Ivanka, 44, responded in the comments section with encouragement. "Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery," she wrote. "Love you mama."
Vanessa and Ivanka's older brother, Donald Trump Jr., were married from 2005 to 2018. The former couple shares five children: Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
Vanessa has been dating professional golfer Tiger Woods since November 2024.
