Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz Radiate Romance at Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz brought their A-game to the 2026 Cannes Film Festival this week.

The pair graced the red carpet at the premiere of "La Bataille de Gaulle: L'âge de fer" on Wednesday, May 20, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, beaming as they posed for photographers. The 52-year-old supermodel stunned in an off-the-shoulder blue Vivienne Westwood gown, while her 36-year-old husband complemented her look with a tailored black suit.

The film, directed by Antonin Baudry and translated as "De Gaulle: Tilting Iron," centers on a pivotal moment in history. According to the festival's official synopsis, the story unfolds in June 1940 as France faces collapse and signs an armistice. At the heart of the narrative is a general who refuses to surrender, escaping to London to preserve the spirit of freedom. Despite having no army, support, or apparent hope, he embarks on an audacious mission to convince the world that France's battle is far from over. The synopsis continues: "Reality is stubborn, and it is wrong. But little by little rise around him in England, France and Africa, the resistance of the shadows, the revolted high school students, the determined soldiers. Their faith, their boldness, their rage of freedom defy the history that seemed written in advance."

The premiere drew an impressive roster of international talent. Irina Shayk turned heads in The Row, while Ester Exposito opted for Armani Privé. Maika Monroe selected Saint Laurent, and Ruth Wilson chose Dior for the evening. Bar Refaeli also wore Armani Privé, while Adele Exarchopoulos arrived in a Phoebe Philo creation. Additional attendees included Coco Rocha, Cindy Bruna in Issey Miyake, Ellie Thumann, and Valery Kaufman, who wore Roberto Cavalli.
