Eva Longoria Shines in Sparkly Gown at Cannes Global Gift Gala

Eva Longoria made a glamorous appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival this week, gracing the red carpet for the Global Gift Gala on Wednesday, May 20, at La Mome Plage in Cannes, France.
The 51-year-old actress, director, and producer turned heads in a plunging black and white gown adorned with sparkles. She served as an honorary chair for the evening, which recognized Sofia Carson with the Global Gift Women Empowerment Award.
The gala brought together an array of entertainment industry figures, including Sofia Carson, Lisa Rinna, and Huddy, all in support of the Global Gift Foundation's mission. The humanitarian nonprofit works to uplift children, women, and families facing vulnerability or risk of social exclusion, creating meaningful change in their lives.
Beyond the red carpet, Longoria has been occupied with her directorial work on the Netflix comedy "The Fifth Wheel." The film features an ensemble cast including Kim Kardashian, Nikki Glaser, Fortune Feimster, and Brenda Song. The story follows three high school friends—played by Song, Glaser, and Feimster—as they attempt to rekindle their bond during a Las Vegas weekend getaway. Kardashian takes on the role of a mysterious outsider whose arrival disrupts the trip and forces the group to confront their complicated histories and deteriorating relationships.
Paula Pell and Janine Brito co-wrote the screenplay for the comedy project.
