Trump Backs Spencer Pratt's Los Angeles Mayoral Bid, Calls Him a "Big MAGA Person"

Donald Trump has thrown his weight behind Spencer Pratt's campaign for Los Angeles mayor.
The former president made his position known during a Wednesday afternoon press availability at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where he fielded questions about the reality television personality's political ambitions.
"I'd like to see him do well. He's a character," Trump said when asked about Pratt. He then questioned whether the candidate actually backed him politically before a reporter confirmed that he did.
"I heard he does. I heard he's a Big MAGA person. He's doing well," Trump responded.
The conversation quickly pivoted to broader concerns about electoral integrity, with Trump launching into an extended critique of voting practices in California. He highlighted mail-in ballots as a particular point of contention, arguing they make Republican victories difficult in the state.
"You have a really rigged vote in California. You have all the mail-in ballots, everything else. Very hard to win because the elections are very dishonest," Trump stated. "If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would have won California because I do great with Hispanics. But it's a rigged vote."
Trump went on to describe what he characterized as systemic problems with vote distribution, claiming that 38 million ballots are sent out with unclear tracking and that Democrats benefit disproportionately from the process. He suggested Republicans face additional hurdles in accessing their voting materials.
"It's a rigged system," Trump said, adding that California ranks among the most problematic states for election integrity, though he stopped short of calling it the worst offender.
