The 2026 Cannes Film Festival jury got the star treatment at a handprint ceremony on Wednesday morning (May 20) in Cannes, France, where members placed their hands in cement to commemorate their roles as judges for the prestigious event.

Demi Moore and Ruth Negga were among the jurors participating in the tradition, alongside an international lineup of acclaimed talent. The panel includes South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard, Ivorian actor Isaach de Bankole, Chinese filmmaker Chloe Zhao, Chilean filmmaker Diego Cespedes, Belgian filmmaker Laura Wandel, and Irish-Scottish screenwriter Paul Laverty.

Moore made an elegant appearance at the ceremony, wearing an Emilia Wickstead design—the Nikush Dress in Icy Blue Denim—paired with a sweater draped across her shoulders.

The festival continues through May 23, with the jury tasked with selecting the winner of the Palme d'Or, cinema's most prestigious award.

For Moore, the week carries added significance as her film I Love Boosters arrives in theaters on Friday. The movie follows a team of professional shoplifters targeting a ruthless fashion entrepreneur, with a supporting cast that includes Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, and Taylour Paige, among others.
